Kings Camp Concludes, Exhibition Up Next

DAUPHIN, MB - After a weekend of intense action the Dauphin Kings concluded their Fall Camp, presented by Smitty's and Super 8 in Dauphin, Sunday afternoon with the JoFo Cup.

The annual Intrasquad Game featured mixed lineups on both sides. The youngest players included Dauphin's Garrett Hrechka while the oldest included Tootinaowaziibeeng's Koby Morrisseau.

The JoFo Cup saw Team Barry Trotz battle back from a 4-1 deficit to defeat Team Butch Goring 5-4 Sunday afternoon at Credit Union Place.

Scoring for Team Trotz were Jonah Fleischer (2), Mitchell Joss, Mattie Boonstra and Avery Smith had the game winning goal in the final frame.

Team Goring had goals from Owen Wareham, Koby Morrisseau, Parker Fofonoff & Carter Eha.

The game saw three fights with Kings Camp being competitive throughout the weekend. Tilts were Mitch Joss & Jaxon Heeney, Brayden Pawluk & Auston Kerridge and Koby Morrisseau & Brendan Arnold.

The winning goalies were Bryan Landsberger & Jaeger Reed while Ethan Slobodzian and Matthias Smith suffered the loss on the other side.

FUN FACT: After Sunday's victory Brendan Arnold has won the JoFo Cup every time he has played in the Kings' annual Intrasquad Game. That total is five.

Now the Kings get set for a six game pre season schedule which kicks off Monday night at Credit Union Place when they welcome the Swan Valley Stampeders. Game time is 7:30pm.

If you're a season ticket holder you can pick up your tickets on the concourse by the concession before the game and until the first intermission on Monday.
