DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings announced Friday they've made a trade with the OCN Blizzard that sees the club's offence improve significantly.
The Kings have acquired forward George King (98) from the Blizzard in exchange for forward Matt Pitchenese (99) and Future Considerations.
King knows how to put the puck in the net. In the 2016-17 campaign the forward notched 36 goals and 18 assists for 54 points in 55 contests. Last year he finished a tough year with injuries by tallying six points (2G, 4A) in six playoff tilts. Hear more with Kings Head Coach & GM Doug Hedley below!
The Kings would like to welcome George and the rest of his family to the organization and at the same time wish Matt Pitchenese all the best moving forward in his hockey career!
The ice is back in and Dauphin Kings Camp kicks off at the end of this month!
Stay tuned for more important announcements next week.
