Boonstra & Buller To Join Kings

DAUPHIN, MB - With Fall Camp closing in fast, the Dauphin Kings are once again excited to announce two more commitments for the upcoming 2018-19 hockey season!

Today the Kings bring in a forward and a D-man. First is 17 year old defenceman Matthew Boonstra (01). Second is 19 year old forward Riley Buller (98).

MATTHEW BOONSTRA

Matthew Boonstra joins the Kings after being acquired in the Riese Gaber trade with the Steinbach Pistons last season.

The 5'11, 155 pound D-man from Garson, ON had a solid start to the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League season in 2017-18, putting up four goals and 12 assists in 16 contests before he suffered a season ending injury.

In 2016-17 Boonstra was also a point per game player, notching 17 goals and 18 assists with the Eastman Selects City Midget club.

The Kings are excited to welcome Matthew and the rest of his family to the organization for 2018-19 and beyond!

RILEY BULLER

Riley Buller had a season to remember in 2017-18 with the Yellowstone Quake in the NA3HL.

The Colorado Springs forward notched 94 points (40G, 54A) in 46 games for his team, a total that put him third overall in the 37 team league. Buller would go on to add six goals and two assists in seven playoff affairs.

Buller stands at 5'8 and 161 pounds.

The Kings are very happy to welcome Riley and the rest of his family to the organization for 2018-19 and beyond!
