The Dauphin Kings struck gold on Friday night on the man advantage and they have their 33rd win of the season because of it.

Dauphin scored four times on the powerplay on seven chances as the Kings secured a 6-3 win in front of a solid crowd at Credit Union Place.

Dauphin fell down quickly in the game as Kolton Shindle and Adam Paplawski scored in the opening 6:17 of the game as the Wolverines took a 2-0 lead.

From that point on, Dauphin’s man advantage took over as it scored three straight goals and they added one even strength goal to take a 4-2 lead midway thru the second period. Boston Bird brought the Wolverines within one with his 19th of the season 9:29 into the second; however, that was as close as they came.
