Get to know Pauze

Tyson Pauze was an everyday player in his shortened season with the Oceanside Generals last year. When he moved to Dauphin, his goal was to earn a spot on the roster every single game, a challenge that he was excited to take on.

Pauze has suited up in 28 games with the Kings this season and as Dauphin has played eight games in February, Tyson has suited up in six of them. On February 6 when the team was up north to play the OCN Blizzard at the Gordon Lathlin, Pauze scored his first game-winning goal with the team in a 3-1 win.

“That felt great, it was a great team win in a hostile arena,” said Pauze. “I’m just happy that I was able to help the team win, that’s what matters.”

Tyson also said this is one of the most special groups that he’s played on as his first MJHL season rolls on.

“We all have such a great bond in the dressing room, everyone is playing towards one cause,” offered Pauze.
