Kings Prospects Camp A Success, Main Camp Next

DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings held their annual Prospects Camp presented by Super 8 & Smitty's in Dauphin over the weekend and the event was a good one with lots of talent on display.

With things a little different this year due to COVID-19 the Dauphin Kings would like to thank all players and parents for being patient with the changes in the arena.

The Kings held skill sessions and scrimmages throughout the weekend with the camp coming to a close on Sunday afternoon following a Prospect Intrasquad Game.

On Sunday Jayden Jubenvill, Kyan Grouette, Sean Williams and Aidan Brook all scored to lead Team Blue to a 4-3 victory over Team White. Brook's goal came with less than a minute to play in the third period to break a 3-3 tie between the two sides. Scoring for Team White on Sunday were Brayden Dube, Kevin Chrisp & Carter Zalischuk. Six of the seven goal scorers on Sunday were products of the Parkland with three from Dauphin (Grouette, Zalischuk & Chrisp), two from Roblin (Brook & Dube) and one from Gilbert Plains (Jubenvill).

Next up for the Kings is the club's Main Camp, also presented by Super 8 & Smitty's in Dauphin! It begins on Friday September 18th at Credit Union Place.

Stay tuned for other announcements in the coming days, including the release of the MJHL's 2020-21 Schedule!
