DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings have added Hudson Yaremko as their Equipment Manager & Trainer for the 2020-21 hockey season.
Yaremko joins the Kings following two years with the OCN Blizzard as the team's Equipment Manager & Trainer. Before that he was the Assistant Equipment Manager from 2015 to 2018.
"I met Hudson when I was in OCN. He was working with our Trainer at the time, Tyler Grove. Hudson's been around the room, he knows the game and his dad's always been involved with the game. Hudson is a hardworking kid, he's dependable and knows what he's doing" said Kings Head Coach & GM Doug Hedley.
Yaremko is already in town and getting ready for the upcoming campaign.
"I'm really excited to be joining the Dauphin Kings and looking forward to the opportunity this year. I'd like to thank Doug for bringing me onto the staff. It's shaping up to be a really good year on the ice for the hockey club" said Yaremko.
With things different in the hockey world going into the fall, Yaremko is ready to move forward into the new age.
"There'll definitely be some challenges for the upcoming season with all the COVID-19 protocols in place but I'm ready and willing to do whatever it takes to get our team on the ice and into game action" said Yaremko. "The Dauphin Kings will be strictly following all health regulations."
Next up for Yaremko and the Kings is the club's Prospect Camp presented by Super 8 and Smitty's in Dauphin. The weekend event kicks off on Friday morning and runs through Sunday afternoon at Credit Union Place!
