Kings Add Danish D-man

DAUPHIN, MB – The Dauphin Kings announced Monday that they have acquired 20 year old D-man Ludvig Adamsen to their club, adding more stability to their back end.

Adamsen’s rights were acquired from the AJHL’s Bonnyville Pontiacs for future considerations.

The product of København (Copenhagen), Denmark, has a lot of experience on the back end, including an appearance at the World Junior Championship last year with his home country.

Adamsen joined the Kings Sunday evening and is expected to dress for the club Tuesday night when they welcome the Waywayseecappo Wolverines to Credit Union Place. Game time Tuesday is 7:30pm and the game sponsor is Piston Ring Dauphin!

“Luddi is a big, strong defenseman that excels on the defensive side of the puck” says Kings Head Coach and General Manager Marc Berry.

“He will provide stability and experience to our blue line having played at a very high level with the Danish national junior team. He’s a very committed and driven young man and we are excited to have him in Kings’ colours.”
