Kings Acquire Goaltender

“Having seen Matteo play last year at the Team Canada West tryouts for the World Junior A Challenge we knew of his ability and work ethic” says Kings Head Coach and General Manager Marc Berry.

“When the opportunity to acquire him arose we felt as an organization we needed to take it to make our goaltending situation more competitive” added Berry.

Dauphin, MB – The Dauphin Kings have made a deal that sees them acquire a 19 year old goaltender from the Bonnyville Pontiacs of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

Matteo Esposito was 5-1 with the Bonnyville Pontiacs so far this season. Last year the Greenwich, CT, product went 16-6 in the regular season with the BCHL’s Chilliwack Chiefs. You can see more of his stats below.
