Lycar Named Playoff MVP

Kirklan Lycar is this year’s playoff MVP for the Dauphin Kings!

The former Eastman Select notched a goal and two assists in two contests for the Kings. He also generated a number of quality scoring chances with his line mates Tyler Garrioch and Riese Gaber. 

It’s the second straight season the 18 year old has been named Dauphin’s playoff MVP.

“Lycs finished the season strong and continued that play into the survivor series. His compete level and will to win is contagious and that’s what this team needs moving forward. We’ll be looking to him as a go to guy next season” stated Kings Head Coach and GM Marc Berry. 

Lycar also finished atop the Kings in scoring this year. He snagged 24 goals and 30 assists for 54 points in 60 contests, easily passing his total from his rookie season which was 26 (19G, 7A).
