DAUPHIN, MB – The Dauphin Kings first signing of the off season is a face people in the Parkland and Dauphin will recognize.
The Kings announced Thursday they have signed local forward Bradyn Smelski (1999) to the team for the upcoming hockey season.
Smelski was the captain of the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League’s Parkland Rangers in 2016-17 where he was third on the team in scoring. The 5’10 Dauphin forward put up 15 goals and 24 assists for 39 points in 42 games.
“Bradyn is a versatile two way forward that provides some grit and will chip in offensively. He’s a well known player in our room and very familiar with our program” says Kings Head Coach and General Manager Marc Berry.
“It was a childhood dream of mine and now it’s become a reality. I’m honoured to be a part of this team and excited to get things started this season” says Smelski.
Welcome to the pride Bradyn!
Be sure to check back over the next week as the Kings will continue to announce more signings to get excited about!
