Bax becomes an MJHL award winner

The Manitoba Junior Hockey League has announced players of the month for October and once again, a Dauphin King has made the list.

In September, Naaman Hofer was named the Safe Work Manitoba Defenseman of the Month. After a great October, Anthony Bax has now won the award.

In his second full season for Dauphin, Bax has been outstanding this year as he leads the team with 15 points and he’s coming off his first hat-trick as a King when he lit the lamp three times in a 7-2 win against the Winnipeg Freeze.

Bax is tied for second in the league among defenseman in scoring and he’s averaging 1.25 points-per-game.
