DAUPHIN, MB - An off and on game for the Kings saw Dauphin lose hold of their winning streak as they fell 7-5 to the Waywayseecappo Wolverines Tuesday night at Credit Union Place.

The first 20 minutes had both teams struggling to find their game. There were chances on both sides and eventually Rylan Ringor scored his first as a King to give Dauphin a 1-0 lead. Wayway was quick to respond on the man advantage to make it 1-1 after 20.

In the second period the Kings started flat and allowed the Wolverines to grab a 4-1 lead. After a kneeing penalty against Wayway the Kings woke up to make it a 4-3 game with goals from Nemis (7) and Gage (9) but Wayway would restore their two goal lead late in the frame to make it 5-3 through 40.

The third period saw Dauphin get some chances but Wayway would pull away. The Wolverines would make it 6-3 before the Kings made it 6-5 with goals from Gabriel Bugeaud (7) and Cayden Glover (23).

Bryson Yaschyshyn started the game but did not finish it. He was pulled in the second period in favour of Cole Sheffield. Yaschyshyn stopped 12 of 16 while Sheffield stepped in and turned aside 10 of 13. The Kings had 41 shots.

It's a quick turnaround for the 20-7-1-0 Kings. They'll wake up tomorrow morning and make the trek north to The Pas to play the Norman Blizzard. The second meeting between the two teams in the last week. Game time Wednesday is 7:00pm!
