Williment enjoying rookie season with Kings

Ethan Williment’s first season as a junior hockey player is well underway as the former Winnipeg Bruin has suited up in eight games with the Kings this season, scoring once and adding one assist.

From Winnipeg, has felt right at home since moving to Dauphin and one of the reasons why is his living arrangements as he has moved in his with grandpa.

“That’s made it pretty easy for me, I’m very comfortable with where I am,” said Williment.

In his last 45 games with the Bruins, Ethan score 15 times and had 33 points and while moving up to junior is never an easy step, he’s doing whatever he can to improve every day. And while he continues with his rookie season, Ethan feels lucky to have joined such a great organization and with a great locker room full of leaders and experienced players, Williment will continue to learn and improve with each day.

“We have such a great group of guys here, it’s been amazing to be a King,” offered Williment.

Ethan is set to graduate from high school and he’s looking forward to the day when he gets the chance to focus solely on hockey. When it comes to what he’s working on, it’s being consistent.

“I think that’s one of the most important things, coming to the rink every day and getting down to the grind,” offered Williment. “I’m playing with guys that have been playing in this league for a few years so it’s a challenge, certainly one that I enjoy.”
