The best in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League are set to go up against the best in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League starting on Tuesday.
The MJHL/SJHL Showcase is taking place this year at the Seven Oaks Sportsplex in Winnipeg with coverage on the event being seen exclusively on HockeyTV and the Voice of the Kings is making the trip.
Darnell Duff was invited to join the broadcast crew for the two-day event. He will do play-by-play two games, colour commentary for two games, and rinkside reporting for two games.
Darnell has been calling games for Dauphin for the past five seasons including last year’s championship season.
“It’s a great honour to be invited,” said Duff. “I have never called games at a Showcase like this before, so I’m looking forward to getting down to business.”
