Roblin’s Brayden Dube has earned some recognition from the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, once again.
Already a Star of the Week this season, Dube has now been named the league’s Rookie of the Month for October. The Seattle Thunderbird prospect continues to dazzle as a 16-year-old.
In October, he scored nine goals in nine games and added four more assists for a 13 point total. Dube was quickly elevated to the team’s first line and he hasn’t looked back.
Meanwhile, Colby Jaquet has been named the MJHL’s Defenceman of the Month for October. From Winnipeg, the 20-year-old is having a career season and October was a month in which he dominated. He scored four times and had 17 points in just 10 games.
Colby is fourth in league scoring this year with 23 points. That’s just five behind Eric Fawkes who leads the league with 28 points.
