5. Long Shift

Tyler Garrioch capped off a long shift in overtime with this excellent individual effort to give the Dauphin Kings a 2-1 victory over the Winnipeg Blues at the MTS Iceplex. The win was Dauphin’s third in four contests and capped off a great weekend.

4. Showcase For The Fans

Kirklan Lycar scored a big goal in overtime for the Dauphin Kings as the club edged the Winnipeg Blues 6-5 at the MJHL Showcase in early October. It was a good bounce back game for the Kings, the night before they dropped a disappointing 3-0 loss to the Winkler Flyers.

Matthew Greening scored a pretty goal on Saturday November 7th knocking the puck out of mid-air for his sixth of the season (Second of the game), helping Dauphin to a 6-1 victory over the Neepawa Natives.

Brandon Holtby made arguably the save of the year in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League on Wednesday December 2nd in Portage when he robbed forward Chase Brakel with a sprawling glove save.
