Time for game four


It’s do-or-die time for the Swan Valley Stampeders. The Dauphin Kings will make their way to the Centennial Arena to play the Stamps’ in game four of their first-round playoff series.

Dauphin is coming off a 6-1 win, one in which they scored four times in the third period to run away with the game after giving up the contest’s first goal. Carson Cherepak has been top-notch in the series with his 3-0 record to go along with a 1.33 goals-against average and a .958 save percentage.

Offensively, Parker Malchuk is coming off a big game with four assists on Friday while Colby Jaquet has three goals and three assists. While Dauphin was dominant in the regular season and in the first two games of this series, they are just as strong on the road as well. They were 19-7-1 away from Credit Union Place in the regular season and are 1-0 on the road heading into Monday night with a plus five goal differential.

Tonight’s Matchup:  Dauphin will look to sweep the series

Last Time Out: 6-1 W in Swan River – Parker Malchuk led the way with four assists while Kaden Bryant scored his first goal of the series and had two assists. In net, Carson Cherepak was tremendous as he made 34 saves.
