DAUPHIN, MB - Three Dauphin Kings have been named to the MJHL's annual All-Star Teams for the 2024-25 season.
Cayden Glover, who has been out of the lineup since the end of January, was named to the league's First All-Star Team along with teammate Naaman Hofer.
Glover leads the Kings in goals with 33 and until just recently had led the entire MJHL despite missing the team's last 15 games. Glover also sits atop the club with 52 points.
Meanwhile, Naaman Hofer's excellent season on the back end for the Kings sees him rewarded with a First All-Star Team nod as well. Hofer is third on the Kings in scoring with 48 points (6G, 42A) and is second in the MJHL in points. He's just two behind Winkler's Isaiah Peters and played four less games, so his point per game average is much stronger at 0.98.
Lastly, Kings goalie Cole Sheffield, who has been very good as of late, was awarded a spot on the MJHL's Second All-Star Team. Sheffield sits with a 28-14-2 record on the year with a 2.42 GAA and a .920 SV%. In his last three games he's 2-1 with a 1.33 GAA and a .960 SV%.
The MJHL is expected announce its individual awards in the coming days.
