Terriers Force Game Six In Dauphin Monday

DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings are one win away from advancing to the MJHL Final.

In the opening 20 minutes the Kings got off to a slow start, getting out shot 6-0 and scored on 2:31 into the frame. Dauphin did get better as the period went on but couldn't get back on even terms. Cole Sheffiled stood tall to keep the deficit to one.

The second period the Terriers added another goal to go ahead 2-0.

In the third Portage added one more to make it a 3-0 final.

Power Plays saw Dauphin go 0 for 3, Portage was 1 for 3.

Cole Sheffield was probably the only Dauphin King that put in a full 60 minute effort on Saturday. He stopped 28 shots. The Kings had 21.

The two teams now get a day off before action resumes in Dauphin for game six on Monday.

The Speedy Glass South Ticket Office opens on Sunday for advance ticket sales at 12:00pm until 5:00pm. Then on Monday tickets will be again on sale from 10:00am until game time.

Game time Monday is 7:30pm at Credit Union Place!
