Terriers Edge Kings In Yorkton

DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings are still looking for their first pre season win, but had a much better effort in a 4-3 loss to the Terriers in Yorkton Sunday afternoon.

Kale Pratte led the way for the Kings. The brother of 20 year old D-man Ty Pratte scored twice, both on the Power Play, while Dauphin's Quinten Fisk had the other marker for the Kings in the loss.

The Kings' Power Play also had a decent afternoon, going 2 for 7 while the Penalty Kill finished 4 for 4.

Shots were in favour of Yorkton on Sunday, but much more balanced than in Saturday's loss in Dauphin. This time the Terriers out shot the Kings 40-31.

The Kings now get a day off before returning to action on Tuesday when they visit the Neepawa Titans in Brandon. Then they'll conclude the Pre Season on Friday against the Titans at Credit Union Place. Game time both Tuesday and Friday is 7:00pm.
