DAUPHIN, MB – The fans were treated to a great game of hockey Sunday afternoon at Credit Union Place as Team Trotz defeated Team Goring 10-9 in overtime in the club’s annual JoFo Cup Intrasquad Game.
Brendan Arnold had the game winner in the extra frame for Team Trotz, which was played 3-on-3 to help prepare for the overtime changes this season. Just 35 seconds remained in the fourth period.
Jaymes Knee had three goals for Team Trotz in the winning effort while Kirklan Lycar (The Car) had five points (2G, 3A) and was named the games second star behind Knee. Kelby Picard was given the tilt’s Hungriest Player Award, brought to you by Corrina’s!
The Kings will now get set for their first exhibition game of the season. It happens tomorrow and it’ll be against the Swan Valley Stampeders. Game time at Credit Union Place is 7:30pm!
