After 10 games, the Dauphin Kings find themselves at 4-5-1. The team is coming off a weekend split against the Steinbach Pistons, in which they won the first game of the home-and-home on home ice. Then on Sunday, the Pistons scored early and often to earn their eighth win.
It’s time for another edition of the Parkland Source for Sports Three Stars of the Week and Cole Sheffield earns top honours this week.
1st Star – Cole Sheffield
It was his best performance as a King and it came at a great time playing against the previously undefeated Pistons. Cole made 49 saves as Dauphin won the game 5-3.
Cole is now 2-2-1 in net for Dauphin this season and he’s very happy to be in Dauphin. Here he is after Friday’s big performance.

2nd Star – Alex Senf
Since coming over from the North American Hockey League, Alex has seemed to get more comfortable with each shift. What Senf lacks in size, he makes up for it with his work ethic and will to win a battle.
His offence has also found some solid form as he’s scored four times since joining Dauphin and he has six points. His four goals have come in the last four games.
3rd Star – Jayden Harris
He had a beautiful goal on Friday against Steinbach, and it was his fourth of the season. Harris has already surpassed how many goals he scored last season as the team won the MJHL championship.
Even if Jayden isn’t finding the scoresheet, he leads by example with his work ethic and commitment to the crest. Harris also has great speed, and he is using it on a more consistent basis as of late.
If Jayden continues to use his speed paired with a great release, he will be a tough forward to stop.
