DAUPHIN, MB - Another honour for a Dauphin Kings player in the month of December. This time it's defenceman Riley Shamray who picked up the MJHL's Sherwood D-man of the Month award.
The 19 year old, who hails from Oak River, had three goals and seven assists on the back end in December.
The award comes a couple weeks after teammate Danny Pion took Player of the Week honours in the MJHL.
Shamray continues to lead the Kings in points as they get set to return to Credit Union Place on Thursday against the Selkirk Steelers (7:30pm). He has seven goals and 20 assists for 27 points on the campaign.
