Senf takes top spot this week

The Dauphin Kings have been rolling on all cylinders as of late and last week was a big one for the club.

Hitting the ice for three games, including a pair of games against Portage, Dauphin won all three of the games.

It’s time for another edition of the Parkland Source for Sports Three Stars of the Week.

1st Star – Alex Senf

The 19-year-old opened up last weekend by producing a monster night. In a 7-5 win against the Terriers, Senf scored twice and added three assists in his biggest game as a King so far.

Then on Saturday, Senf was buzzing all over in helping Dauphin secure a 4-3 win.

He just turned 21 years old and he’s celebrating that by going off as late.

3rd Star – Myles Yearwood

Myles has incredible speed and a great shot. When he pairs the two together, he is nearly impossible to stop, and he did pair the two over the weekend.

He opened the weekend by scoring two goals and adding one assist in the team’s win against Portage on Friday. Then on Saturday, Yearwood scored 11 minutes into the third period and his 12th goal of the season tied the game up before Dauphin won in a shootout.
