Seib, Miko Latest To Join Kings

DAUPHIN, MB - Forward Hayden Seib (06) and Defenseman Dylan Miko (06) are the latest players to join the Dauphin Kings for the upcoming 2024-25 MJHL season.

Seib, a product of Russell, joins the Kings after completing a successful season with the U18 Parkland Rangers. In 44 affairs Seib had 16 goals and 24 assists for 40 points.

"Seib is a local kid we drafted a couple years ago. He's a big body that plays on the left side. Biggest thing is if we can get one-hundred percent compete out of  Hayden we think he's a player that can help us for sure" said Kings Head Coach and General Manager Doug Hedley.

On the other side of Riding Mountain National Park, just south of Dauphin, are the Yellowhead Chiefs. That's where D-man Dylan Miko comes from. From the community of Onanole, Miko spent 44 games on the back end with the U18 Chiefs where he tallied eight goals and 15 assists for 23 points.

"He's a big body left shot D-man that we were actually looking at drafting but Winkler had taken him just before us. It didn't work out there so we're obviously happy to have him and we think he will turn out to be a really good defenseman for us" said Hedley.

Dauphin Kings Main Camp kicks off at the end of August. The MJHL recently announced the league's Pre Season Schedule. For the Kings the stretch will kick off on Tuesday September 3rd when Dauphin hosts the Blizzard. Below is the rest of the exhibition schedule.
