DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings are excited to announce that two graduating players are taking their hockey careers to the next level.
Both forward Rylan Gage and D-man Brett Magarrell have committed to the University of Jamestown for the upcoming 2026-27 hockey season!

WHATS COMING UP FOR THE KINGS?:
The Dauphin Kings will host their annual Prospects Camp this weekend (Apr. 10-12) inside Credit Union Place. The event is presented by Super 8 and Smitty's in Dauphin. It will see roughly 100 players come to Dauphin for the weekend as the club begins its off season recruiting process.
Then, April 18th & 19th, the Kings will be at the Parkland Business Expo for their EARLY BIRD SEASON TICKET DEADLINE! Fans can attend the Parkland Business Expo and secure their season tickets and seats for the upcoming 2026-27 season, come find us inside Credit Union Place! We'll also be selling merchandise, jerseys and lots more!
AND, with golf season on the horizon the Kings are beginning preparation for the 2026 Par 3 Extravaganza! This year's tournament will take place on Saturday September 12th so mark your calendars! The location of the event will be announced in the coming weeks!

RYLAN GAGE
In his time with the Dauphin Kings Rylan Gage played 142 regular season contests and 29 post season games for the club.
His final year saw him captain the club to a solid 33-23-2-0 season.
In total the Hamiota, Manitoba product put up 67 points for the Kings (35G, 32A) in the regular season and added four goals and an assist in the post season.
In 2025-26 Gage won the team's Outstanding Character and Community Involvement Awards.
The Kings would like to thank Rylan for his three seasons of commitment to the organization and wish him all the best in his future endeavors!
BRETT MAGARRELL
A solid piece on the Kings' back end for three seasons Brett Magarrell joined Dauphin in 2023-24 in a trade with the Portage Terriers.
After that the Domain, Manitoba product played in 111 regular season contests and 26 playoff games for the Kings. In the regular season he tallied four goals and 20 assists.
Magarrell, like Gage, was an important cog in the Kings organization for a number of games. Last season he won the team's and this season he won the team's Most Improved Player Award.
