DAUPHIN, MB - After being acquired in a trade at the start of the month Kings forward Danny Pion has taken his game to another level and its been reflected this week as the Quebec product was named the MJHL's Recycle Everywhere Player of the Week.
Pion had two goals and five assists in just three games played last week to help lead the Kings to two wins in three outings. He had at least two points in all three contests.
Since joining Dauphin from Steinbach Pion has matched his point total with the Pistons in just five games with the Kings. In Steinbach the forward had 11 points in 20 contests. With the Kings he has 11 points (4G, 7A) in five affairs.
Pion and the Kings are getting set for the MJHL Showcase this week. It begins Tuesday for Dauphin when they take on the Blues in Winnipeg, game time is 3:00pm!
