Parkland rivals clash

It’s time for the two Parkland teams in the league to go to battle. For the first time this season, the Kings and Stampeders hook up in a regular season contest. And the Stampeders are in chase mode.

They enter the contest nine points behind Dauphin in the standings. The Stampeders have had no trouble scoring this season with 61 goals for; however, defensively they have struggled at times with 63 goals against.

The Kings; meanwhile, have taken care of business both offensively and defensively. Their 61 goals for is near the top of the league, but it’s been the team’s defence that has really propelled the team to a fantastic start. With just 37 goals against, Dauphin has given up the third fewest in the league.

Dauphin beat Waywayseecappo in three of four contests over the past two weekends while Swan Valley enters after a four game split against Virden.
