Parkland battle on tap

Three more games before the Christmas break are on top for the Dauphin Kings, beginning on Sunday afternoon.

On Tractor Lotto Sunday, the Kings welcome a divisional rival to town as the Swan Valley Stampeders pay a visit to Credit Union Place. It’s the third meeting of the season between the clubs after they split a pair of games earlier this campaign.

Dauphin is winners of back-to-back games coming into the contest after downing Portage on Wednesday and the Freeze on Friday. That has put the Kings in a good spot in the West Division as they’re just four points back of Swan Valley heading into Sunday’s contest.

The Stampeders are among the hottest teams in the league as they have won six straight and 12 of their last 14 games. That has them on top spot in the highly competitive West Division.
