The Dauphin Kings completed a comeback for the ages on Friday night.
Opening a home-and-home with Virden, the Kings came back from three down late to pick up a 5-4 overtime win.
Dauphin fell down 3-0 and they were down 4-1 with just 2:50 left in the game and that’s where the game turned.
Colby Jaquet scored his ninth to bring Dauphin within two and a goal from Wareham less than 40 seconds later brought Dauphin within one.
Remaining on a 6-on-5, Jaquet scored his 10th goal of the season as time expired to push the game into overtime.
Then just 1:04 into overtime, Kaden Bryant found the back of the net to complete an improbable comeback.
Dauphin remains in first place in the West Division with the win, still one point ahead of Waywayseecappo.
The weekend wraps up against Virden on Sunday night.
