The Dauphin Kings appear to be rolling on all cylinders as they enter the back end of a home-and-home with the Waywayseecappo Wolverines on Saturday night.
On Friday night, Mathew Rathbone scored halfway thru overtime as the Kings beat the Wolverines in a thriller, 2-1. It was the third straight time that Dauphin beat their divisional opponents and now, they have created a little more space as they are now three points ahead of the Wolverines.
Carson Cherepak continues to be rock solid in net for Dauphin as he made 33 saves on Friday. Dauphin is going for their fifth weekend sweep of the season and if they earned two points on Saturday, it would be their second straight against the Wolverines.
It’s also Skate with the Kings night so make sure you head down to ice level after the contest to skate with your favourite members of the team.
