One final showdown with the Titans

There is no one catching the Dauphin Kings in the West Division regular season standings.
The club locked down first place last night when they downed the Neepawa Titans, 5-3. It was a game in which Dauphin trailed 2-1 after 40 minutes but they put together a very strong third period. Nick Braun and Nakodan Greyeyes both had a goal and two assists in the win.
Tonight, the Kings will look to make it eight straight wins and they have 11 wins over their past 12 games. The Kings are still trying to chase down the Pistons; however, they sure aren’t getting any help.
Steinbach is four points ahead of Dauphin with the Kings having a game in hand. Steinbach has won 10 straight games and since the Pistons won the season series with the Kings, Dauphin needs to finish with more points than Steinbach to clinch first overall in the league.
None the less, the Kings are just focusing on what they’re doing and getting better every day, something that is clearly happening.
Tonight’s Hockey Card night so grab yours from the concourse and right after the game, head to the lobby to get them signed by your favourite King.
