Offense fired up, Kings win

The Dauphin Kings have their first win of the 2023 Turnbull Cup Playoffs.

Falling down 2-0, the Kings caught fire offensively once again as they put up six goals in a 6-3 win against Swan Valley.

The win now means Dauphin only trails 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.

In his return to the lineup, Jayden Harris was marvellous and he scored Dauphin’s first goal of the game late in the first to give the team some life.

Dauphin took over in the second as they scored three times to take a 4-2 lead. Blake Boudreau, Logan Walker, and Deepkaran Hans did the scoring for Dauphin.

After Swan Valley brought themselves within a goal early in the third, Dauphin sealed it. Mathew Gough scored his second of the series and Myles Yearwood also found the back of the net.

Dauphin will now host game four on Friday.
