OCN doubles up Kings

Riley Zimmerman handed the Dauphin Kings their first regulation loss of the season on Tuesday night.

The OCN Blizzard captain had a career game as he scored four times in an 8-4 win for the home team over the Kings.

The win improves OCN’s record to 3-0 on the season while Dauphin drops to 1-1-1 after dropping an overtime game against Neepawa over the weekend.

Dauphin opened the scoring in the game as Anthony Tudino scored his first as a King 7:17 into the contest. From that point, the Blizzard took over.

They scored four straight goals, two of which came off the stick of Zimmerman. Matthew Langdon, Ryan Monias and Michael Hlady rounded out the scoring OCN.

On top of Tudino’s goal, Riley Borody, Jayden Harris and Blake Boudreau scored for the Kings.

Next up for Dauphin is a home-and-home this weekend against the Swan Valley Stampeders.
