DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings and the rest of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League are one step closer to next season following the announcement of the 2026-27 schedule Tuesday.
For the Kings, they will host pretty much all their games on the weekend.
Friday - 15 Games
Saturday - 7 Games
Sunday - 6 Games
Thursday - 1 Game (New Years Eve)
The season will begin Friday September 18th when the Kings visit the Selkirk Steelers. The two teams will hook up the following night in Dauphin for the Kings' Home Opener at Credit Union Place!

Fire Prevention Night - Friday October 2nd vs. WPG Blues
Ladies Night - Friday October 30th vs. Steinbach
Ag Night - Friday November 20th vs. Swan Valley
Hockey Card Night - Saturday December 5th vs. Steinbach
Tractor Lotto - Sunday December 13th vs. Neepawa
New Years Eve - Thursday December 31st vs. Neepawa
Ukrainian Night - Saturday January 23rd vs. Neepawa
Awards & Rain Check Night - Friday March 12th vs. Virden
"It was a successful scheduling meeting" says Kings Director of Business Operations Christian Laughland. "Any time you go into the meeting and come out with 28 of 29 home games on a weekend I'd say you've done well. Especially considering the one week day game the Kings will play will be on New Years Eve."
The longest road swing for Dauphin will be six games from October 4th until the 18th while their two biggest home stands (four games each) stretch from October 23rd to November 8th and January 22nd to the 30th.
The Kings will play just two times back to back on the road this upcoming season.
Start times remain the same in 2026-27. Friday & Saturday will be 7:00pm with Sunday's and New Years Eve being 4:00pm puck drops.
