Mission accomplished

The Dauphin Kings are tied for first place overall in the MJHL standings.

Up North for a tilt against OCN, the Kings earned a 3-1 win in hostile territory.

”It feels great, we put a great effort forth tonight and got the job done,” said Tyson Pauze after the game. “It’s a great arena to win the game in, now we have to move forward.”

Pauze scored the game-winning goal after Luke Morris opened the scoring late in the first period.

“I’ve been struggling offensively lately so it was nice to get on the board,” offered Pauze.

Morris scored Dauphin’s third goal of the game as the team has now won three straight and has 28 wins. Logan Calder added two assists and Carson Cherepak was sensational, making 35 saves.

At 28-10-1, Dauphin is three points up on Waywayseecappo for first in the West.
