Looking to move on

=====

They always say the fourth game of a series is always the hardest to win. For the Dauphin Kings, they’ll get a second chance to do just that as they host game five of their first-round series with Swan Valley Friday night.

Dauphin scored first on Monday; however, the Stampeders struck gold offensively as they skated off with their first win of the series to keep their season alive. Dauphin won both games on home ice this series including a come from behind 3-2 win. Friday’s game is once again a must-win for Swan Valley.

Kobe Grant has been one of the stars of the series for the Stampeders, he made 47 saves on Monday night and he was the reason Swan Valley had chances earlier in the series to get off to a better start. In the end, he’s going to have to be excellent again Friday if Dauphin wants to have a chance.

Plenty of tickets are available for the game, they will go on sale at noon at the South Ticket Office at Credit Union Place. You can hear the game on 730CKDM with Darnell Duff.

Tonight’s Matchup:  Dauphin looks to move to 3-0 on home ice in the series and Swan Valley looks to stay alive.

Last Time Out: 6-3 L vs Swan River: Dauphin recorded 50 shots and 88 attempts. That means they missed the net on 38 of their shots in the loss. The Stampeders won the physical battle on Monday, we will see what happens Friday.
