It’s Kubrytskyi time in Dauphin

It’s one of the most highly anticipated games of the season as the Dauphin Kings will host another Ukrainian Night at Credit Union Place.

The OCN Blizzard is coming to town for the matchup as it’s a battle of two of the top teams in the West Division. While Cole Sheffield and Marko Belak have performed very well this season, it’s Dmytro Kubrytskyi’s time in Dauphin.

Kubrytskyi is set to make his debut with Dauphin on Friday as Dauphin battles OCN. Kubrytskyi just returned to the team after playing with the Ukrainian U25 National Team at the World University Games.

In three games played, Dmytro made 89 saves, 40 of which came in a hard-fought battle against Team Canada. He also turned away 18 shots in a big 12-2 win against Sweden.

Previous to that, Dmytro was excellent with the team during the ‘Hockey Can’t Stop Tour’. He finished it off by making 12 saves in a win against the University of Manitoba Bisons. Dmytro also made 49 saves combined in two games against the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Calgary.

Tickets for the game are still on sale by heading to the Speedy Glass South Ticket Office.
