Kings, Wolverines Make Trade

“Riley is an experienced two way defenceman that knows our league and has had personal success at this level” says Kings Head Coach and General Manager Marc Berry.

“He’s a guy that we expect to come in and play a lot of minutes. We expect him to be a top three guy inside our defence core. Being a 1998 born player fits inside our plans for our future and we expect Riley to be a big part of that.”

DAUPHIN, MB – The Dauphin Kings and Waywayseecappo Wolverines swapped defenceman Thursday with the Kings sending Trevor Kavanaugh and future considerations to Wayway and the Wolverines turning Riley Shamray back to Dauphin.

The Kings would like to thank Trevor Kavanaugh for his time with the club and welcome Riley Shamray and his family to the Den!
