Kings welcome Wolverines to town

For the first time this season, the Dauphin Kings and Waywayseecappo Wolverines will go head-to-head.

Dauphin is coming off a convincing win on Friday against Neepawa on home ice while the Wolverines struggled heavily on Friday as they were downed by five against Portage. Dauphin has a five-point cushion over Waywayseecappo entering Saturday’s game and Dauphin is also just five points back of the OCN Blizzard for first in the West, the Blizzard are on home ice against Selkirk on Saturday.

The Kings used a well balanced approach on Friday in securing their ninth win as five different players scored including Aidan Brook of Roblin.

The game also included an outstanding save from Cole Sheffield.

Saturday’s game is also the first of two straight between the two teams as Dauphin will head to Waywayseecappo for a rematch on Halloween Monday.
