TONIGHT'S MATCHUP

KINGS (15-6-1-0)

The Kings enter tonight's contest on a five game winning streak and will try to keep moving up their point total and staying atop the MJHL's West Division. It's a big home stretch for the Kings who play some key games with contests against Virden and Waywayseecappo on the horizon.

Dauphin's played in a league low eight home games so far, but they have gotten the job done for the most part with just one regulation loss in that record, going 6-1-1-0. Every other team in the league has played at least 10 games at home except for the Winnipeg Blues who have also played eight. After December the Kings will have played 16 games on home ice, over half their amount for the regular season.

Speciasl Teams have been hot and cold on home ice for Dauphin. Their Power Play is a disappointing 18.5% at Credit Union Place but their Penalty Kill is a very strong 87.5%. That's third best in the league at home.

Havryil SImchuk (12G, 13A) leads the Kings in points with 25.

STEELERS (14-10-1-0)

The Kings have won five straight, the Steelers are going somewhat in the opposite direction. They've lost three in a row and have slipped to 4th in the East Division.

Selkirk is in the midst of a four game road swing which will conclude next week in Virden. The Steelers will play eight games in the month of December with four on the road and four at home.

Special Teams remain solid for Selkirk, their Penalty Kill is middle of the pack, 7th at 80.2% while their Power Play is 3rd in the MJHL at 25.2%.

Landon Pue (11G, 14A) leads the Steelers in points coming into tonight's contest, he's at 25.
