Kings welcome Oil Caps’ to town

It has been seven days since the Dauphin Kings came up short against the Selkirk Steelers and that was their last game.

That’s all about to come to a change tonight as the club hits the ice in game action as they welcome the Virden Oil Capitals to town.

Dauphin enters the game with 11 wins and 24 points. Virden also enters the game with 11 wins and they have 22 points. The two teams have split their season series so far with Dauphin winning on home ice while Virden defended their home ice.

With OCN dropping a pair of road games earlier this week, Dauphin has a chance to inch closer to the West Division leaders, Dauphin is currently seven points back of OCN.

It’s the first of two games this weekend for Dauphin as they will welcome the Winkler Flyers to town on Sunday afternoon. You can catch Saturday night’s game on HockeyTV.
