TONIGHT'S MATCH UP
KINGS (15-5-1-0)
The Kings got back on track Saturday with a 5-2 victory over the Swan Valley Stampeders. So far in the month of November the Kings are 5-1-1-0, their best month so far since going 4-0-0-0 in late September. They come into tonight's contest first in the West Division.
When it comes to Waywayseecappo the Kings have controlled things with the Wolverines over the past few seasons. In the last five years they're 10-2-0-2 against the Wayway. The two teams will meet again December 10th in Dauphin.
Dauphin's Special Teams have their Power Play 3rd in the MJHL at 26% while their Penalty Kill is 85.9% which is 2nd.
Cayden Glover (17G, 9A) is back atop the Kings in points with 26. He'll look to build off of Saturday's three point (2G, 1A) effort against the Swan Valley Stampeders.
WOLVERINES (6-12-0-0)
Weather conditions threw a bit of a wrench into the Waywayseecappo Wolverines' schedule this week. The club was supposed to take to the ice on Tuesday night but due to a winter storm that rolled through southern Manitoba their game with the Winkler Flyers was postponed.
Wayway is still in the mix for the post season hunt. Despite sitting in 5th right now the Wolverines have three games in hand on the Virden Oil Capitals and are six points back.
The Wolverines' Special Teams continue to be hot and cold. Their Power Play is near the bottom of the league at 11.4% (11th) while their Penalty Kill is near the top at 84.4% (4th).
Jaxon Grosdidier (7G, 7A) leads the Wolverines in points with 14.
