The Dauphin Kings are pleased town announce that forward Chance Thomas has committed to the Concordia University Thunder of the ACAC for the upcoming season.
Thomas spent two years with the Dauphin Kings after being acquired in a trade in the summer of 2014.
The Alberta product led Dauphin in scoring in 2014-15 with 18 goals and 27 assists for 45 points. His 20 year old season had him picking up 15 goals and 15 assists for 30 points. Thomas was one goal short of 50 in his Junior A career.
“Tommy was a great guy for us both on and off the ice. He’ll add speed and some offence to the Concordia line up. This will be a good step for Chance and we wish him all the best” said Kings Head Coach and General Manager Marc Berry.
Thomas was one of four graduating players for Dauphin this season, the others were Captain Tyler Garrioch, forward Romano Morrison and goalie Jarrod Schamerhorn.
The Kings thank Chance and his family for all their time with the club and wish him nothing but the best in his future!
