DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings are off to the MJHL Championship Series after Havryil Simchuk (4) scored at 3:46 of overtime to lift his team to a 3-2 victory Monday night at Credit Union Place.

Simchuk (3) also opened the scoring for the Kings in the first period before the Terriers would tie it. Portage would take a brief lead in the first before Ethan Williment (2) responded before the frame was out.

In the second and third period there was no scoring but lots of close play between the two teams.

Then in overtime Simchuk scored off a great setup from Gabriel Bugeaud.

Now Dauphin gets set for the MJHL Final against the Northern Manitoba Blizzard. The series will begin later this week and the Kings have home ice advantage. Stay tuned for the schedule and ticket details!
