Kings suffer OT defeat

Blake Boudreau scored late to secure a point for the Dauphin Kings; however, that was it.

In another back and forth game against the Neepawa Titans, Neepawa scored late in overtime to pick up the extra point in a 3-2 win.

One night following an overtime win, the Kings once again found themselves down late but Boudreau scored with 69 seconds left to force overtime.

Dauphin had their chances in overtime but they couldn’t beat Mason Lobreau who played fantastic in his first junior start.

Cole Sheffield – who was making his first MJHL regular season start – played well, making 28 saves in the loss. Assistant captain Jayden Harris also scored for Dauphin in the second period.

Next up for the Kings is a trip to OCN to play the Blizzard on Tuesday night.
