Kings Stay Alive, Force Game 6 Tuesday

DAUPHIN, MB - Cole Sheffield stood tall and the Dauphin Kings played one of their most complete games of the playoffs in a 3-0 shut out victory in Game 5 of the MJHL Final.

On this night the Kings didn't get going until the second period when Cayden Glover (5) scored his fifth of the post season on a loose puck in front.

The Kings would take their 1-0 advantage to the third period and Ethan Stewart (3) and Gabriel Bugeaud (5) both tallied nice goals to give Dauphin insurance. The Kings would control the play throughout the third period and the Blizzard were unable to score on a late man advantage.

Special Teams went the way of the Kings Sunday. Dauphin went 1 for 1 while the Blizzard were 0 for 3.

Cole Sheffield stopped 42 shots he faced for the shut out while the Kings had 30 on the Northern Manitoba goal.

With the win the Kings force a Game 6 on Tuesday in The Pas. Game time is slated for 7:00pm!
