Kings stay alive

In one of the most entertaining games of the year and with their season on the line, the Dauphin Kings came up large.

29 seconds into double overtime, Deepkaran Hans scored the winner from the slot as Dauphin downed Swan Valley, 4-3.

The win now pushes the series to game six with it taking place at Credit Union Place in Dauphin on Tuesday.

Coming in for Cole Sheffield to start the second, Dmytro Kubrytskyi was outstanding for Dauphin as he turned away 15 of the 16 shots he saw.

Mathew Gough, Jayden Harris, and Anthony Bax also scored for Dauphin. The Kings also went 6-for-7 on the penalty kill in the game.

Dauphin remains on the brink of elimination, but they can now tie the series with a win on Tuesday night.
