Kings Shut Out At Home

DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings threw 64 shots on net but none went in in a 4-0 loss to the Swan Valley Stampeders Tuesday night.

The first 20 minutes saw Swan Valley score just over five minutes in. The Kings would out shoot the Stampeders in the frame but couldn't hit the back of the net.

In the second it was more of the same. Lots of shots but no goals by the Kings. Swan Valley would tally in the final two minutes of the period to make it 2-0 after 4-0.

The third had the Kings once again give up an early goal, this time just over a minute into the period. The Stampeders would pad their lead, making it 4-0 after the six minute mark, and that would be the final.

Special Teams had both clubs finishing 0 for 3.

Shots finished at 64-35 for the Kings with Bryson Yaschyshyn taking the loss in goal.

Dauphin is now 23-19-1-0on the year and have lost two straight.

Next up for the Kings is a two game road swing. They'll head to Virden on Friday (7:30pm) before taking on the Monarchs in Winnipeg on Saturday (7:30pm). After that the Kings return home to take on the Northern Manitoba Blizzard Tuesday at 7:00pm!
